Letter to our community

To our Camp Friends and Family,

I hope you and your loved ones are having a safe, healthy, and happy 2021-2022 season!

We had a small, yet successful 2021 summer at Tomahawk Ranch and I feel so blessed to be able to provide although different, a still fun and adventurous camp experience.
We are deep in the planning for summer 2022 and hope to provide even more opportunities for campers throughout the state! In preparation for this summer, we continue to monitor the advice from public health experts, the Department of Health & Human Services, American Camp Association, and consultation with GSUSA and other camp organizations and partnerships.

It is difficult to say at this time what COVID-19 state mandates we will be required to follow due to being a licensed and accredited camp program. With that being said, we are routinely planning for a safe and healthy program, which will include consistent sanitation and disinfection, increased frequent hand washing, daily health screenings of all campers, staff and volunteers, drive-through check-in and check-out processes, and practices consistent with helping to decrease the risk of the spread of infectious diseases.

As always, we are ever committed to making the 2022 summer just as fun, engaging, and magical for all who experience a camping adventure at Tomahawk Ranch. For us, camp is about the friendships, connections with each other, nature and animals, and the self-growth and awareness we all experience.

In future’s time, I look to welcome you all back to Tomahawk Ranch and her skies of blue!
From around the campfire,

Obi Joe,
Camp Director, Tomahawk Ranch
