Camp Grant Information
To apply for a camp grant, follow the steps below.
1. Register and pay the 10% deposit for your desired camp CampInTouch.
2. Submit the Camp Grant Application.
3. The camp grant administrator will review the application and communicates the amount granted with the family within 2-3 weeks.
4. If the family decides the grant doesn’t work for their finances, they must email reply to decline the grant and we will cancel their camper and refund their deposit in full.
Grants are good for one session/girl per application and cover up to 90% of camp fees. If the family decides the grant doesn’t work for their finances, they will be refunded their deposit in full.
Camp Discount Information
The following discounts are applicable for the 2021 camp season for those sessions that register through CampInTouch. Cookie volume discounts earned in 2020 can also be applied to the 2021 camp season. Ex: If your girl sold 1,000 packages of cookies in the 2020 cookie program, she earned the 10% discount and if she sells 1,500 packages of cookies in the 2021 cookie program, she can combine both discounts for a total of 25 percent off her camp sessions. This rollover is for one year only. Unused discounts from 2021 will not apply for summer 2022.
Cookie Volume Discount: Parent enrolls camper into desired camps and pays the 10% deposit, GSCO Product Program team will communicate with our camp registration team about girls who have earned Cookie Volume Discounts in 2020 and 2021. GSCO Registration applies the discount on the back end of the CampInTouch system and sends an email with a new invoice to the customer. This discount can be combined with either the New Resident Camper Discount or the Additional Sibling Discount; whichever of the two may apply to the camper.
Additional Sibling Discount: Parent completes application for camp, in requested discount field customer indicates camper has a sibling attending camp in current season. GSCO registration will check discount report daily, and review camper record to ensure that two or more siblings are registered for camp. If camper does not currently have a sibling registered for camp, registration changes discount status to "No sibling registered." Discount is applied to the lower price between two siblings, if all siblings are registered for two camps, two sister discounts are applied. If family has more than two children discount is applied to all but one sibling. This discount cannot be combined with the New Resident Camper Discount.
New Resident Camper Discount: Parent completes application for camp, in requested discount field customer indicates camper has not stayed at a resident GS camp before. GSCO registration will check discount report daily, and review camper record to ensure that camper has not attended resident camp previously and applies discount to the camper's most expensive session. This discount cannot be combined with the Additional Sibling Discount.
Day Camp Volunteer Discount: Parent enrolls camper into day camp session and pays the 10% deposit to secure her space. Day Camp director approves adult volunteer and shares a list of approved volunteers with GSCO registration, GSCO registration applies the discount on the back end of the CampInTouch system.
